Research found basil to be effective against numerous bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and others—even some that have become resistant to common antibiotics. Some studies have even shown that washing your produce in a solution containing basil essential oil can help kill any remaining bacteria before eating.
This home DIY basil face wash is also great for achieving that smooth youthful complexion we all love. It possess pro-vitamin A and vitamin K, both essential to keep healthy inside and out.

Soothing: Basil can help soothe eczema and rashes, imparting a calming feel to the skin and helping you find relief from itching and burning.

Instead of using it as a wash, try it as a weekly mask for longer lasting benefits.
